Linus Weidner
Doctoral researcher
Linus is a doctoral researcher in Prof. Lutter’s team, and is associated to the “Institut für Glücksspiel und Gesellschaft“ (Institute of Gambling and Society). His dissertation analyzes the impact of gambling on society. In 2019, he received his MA in Sociology from Wuppertal University. His MA thesis was on “Small teams and creative performance,“ supervised by Prof. Lutter. He has also been a research assistant in the project “Productivity in Academia: Influences and Preconditions on Career Trajectories“ (lead by Prof. Lutter and Prof. Schröder). Prior to that, he studied business psychology at the Hochschule Osnabrück (2012 - 2015), and worked as an Equity Trader at a German bank (2015 - 2016).
