Since April 2025, I have been a research fellow in Professor Mark Lutter’s team. My scientific interests lie in both quantitative and qualitative methods, including longitudinal data analysis, cluster analysis, and mixed-methods approaches. My thematic focuses include socio-spatial analysis and the sociology of music.
Together with Professor Mark Lutter, Professor Thomas Heinze, and Adrian Krajda, we are currently examining conformity and innovation in the repertoire of German symphony orchestras as part of a DFG-funded project. Accordingly, my dissertation analyzes the careers of orchestra leaders in the orchestras. For further information about the research project, click here.
Before completing my master’s degree in “methods of social research” (social science) at Ruhr-University Bochum in 2024, I studied music with a focus on the mandolin as my main instrument at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln, as well as philosophy and social science in Bochum.
