about Steffen Eisentraut

Steffen Eisentraut works as a research assistant at at the Department of Sociology and Social Theory at the Bergische University of Wuppertal. He worked before in the research project „Social System, Child Maltreatment and Processes of Professional Interventions”, which was funded by the German Research Foundation from 2010-2013. In his ongoing PhD project he investigates mobile media interactions in teenage peer groups by using a grounded theory approach.

His current fields of interest are sociology of media and communication, sociology of youth, visual sociology and qualitative methodshtt/.
