about Florian Grötsch

Florian Grötsch works as a research associate at the Department of Sociology and Social Theory at the Bergische University of Wuppertal. He writes his PhD Thesis on the politics of Religion by the EU-Commission from a Sociology of Knowledge perspective. He worked before as a Project Manager at the Graduate School of the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Göttingen and as a research associate at University of Erfurt. His current fields of interest are sociology of knowledge, the influence of Religion in Europe, the dynamics in the religious field and the European Integration process.
